MAR 29 - Sammamish Rowing Association Open House
The Lake Sammamish Rowing Association will hold an open house from noon to 3 pm Saturday, March 29 and offer
those interested a test row on Lake Sammamish. Adults and children of all ages are welcome, but people must be
at least age 13 to go out in a boat. No experience is needed. The rowing association is located at 5022 W Lake
Sammamish Pkwy, about 7/10 of a mile south of the entrance to Marymoor Park. More information is available at

MAR 8 - Redmond Historical Society Meeting
History is happening in the Redmond area! The Redmond Historical Society will meet on Saturday, March 8th from
10:30am to noon, at The Redmond Library (15990 NE 85 Street). Come and hear all about the Klondike Gold Rush and how it
affected Seattle and surrounding communities. Ruth Kerr, of the Klondike Gold Rush International Historical Park, Seattle,
will cover the 2-year period, starting in 1897, of the gold rush and this area’s involvement. She will take us from Seattle to
Dawson City, also discussing the U.S. partnership with Canada. Don’t miss this meeting.
