MAY 10 - Redmond Historical Society Meeting History is happening in the Redmond area! The Redmond Historical Society will meet on Saturday, May 10th at 10:30am to noon, at The Redmond Library (15990 NE 85 Street). Drivers and fans of the Sammamish Slough river races will reminisce about outboard, water ski, and human-propelled races once held between Redmond and Kenmore. Don’t miss this meeting.

APR 12 - Redmond Historical Society Meeting
History is happening in the Redmond area! The Redmond Historical Society will meet on Saturday, April 12th at 10:30am to noon, at The Redmond Library (15990 NE 85 Street). Come and hear all about birding at Marymoor Park. Michael Hobbs will be talking on seasonal patterns, habitat niches, and bird usage of the Park. He will have some good bird stories and wonderful pictures. Don’t miss this meeting.

MAR 29 - Sammamish Rowing Association Open House
The Lake Sammamish Rowing Association will hold an open house from noon to 3 pm Saturday, March 29 and offer those interested a test row on Lake Sammamish. Adults and children of all ages are welcome, but people must be at least age 13 to go out in a boat. No experience is needed. The rowing association is located at 5022 W Lake Sammamish Pkwy, about 7/10 of a mile south of the entrance to Marymoor Park. More information is available at

MAR 8 - Redmond Historical Society Meeting
History is happening in the Redmond area! The Redmond Historical Society will meet on Saturday, March 8th from 10:30am to noon, at The Redmond Library (15990 NE 85 Street). Come and hear all about the Klondike Gold Rush and how it affected Seattle and surrounding communities. Ruth Kerr, of the Klondike Gold Rush International Historical Park, Seattle, will cover the 2-year period, starting in 1897, of the gold rush and this area’s involvement. She will take us from Seattle to Dawson City, also discussing the U.S. partnership with Canada. Don’t miss this meeting.

FEB 9 - Redmond Historical Society Meeting
History is happening in the Redmond area! The Redmond Historical Society will meet on Saturday, February 9th from 10:30 to noon, at The Redmond Library (15990 NE 85 Street). Come and hear about Redmond’s history, past and present. Don’t miss this meeting.

JAN 24 - FEB 2 - Seattle Boat Show
This 10-day event features more than 1,000 recreational watercraft, seminars and the latest innovations in accessories at Qwest Field Event Center, plus 200 world-class boats in their natural habitat on South Lake Union. Visit the official

JAN 12 - Redmond Historical Society Meeting
